This is a set of six antique ladderback dining chairs. An English, oak rush seat set with pair of carver elbow chairs, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

• Good quality in English oak with a mid-tone, polished finish
• Rush seat pads in good order throughout
• Gently raked 'wavy line' back for comfort

• Recalling designs of the late Georgian period in the Lancashire/Cheshire area of the U.K.

• Complemented by feature inset rosette to rears
• Raised on stout turned front legs, over a traditional hoof foot, and square section rear
• United by a twin side rail box stretcher with decorative turned front stretcher
