This is a set of four antique prints. A French, framed reproduction of original 18th century etchings with provincial taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in original order
- Set within distinctive gilt finished frames with chamfered edges
- Finished to the reverse with appealing Fleur-de-Lys backing paper
- Each etching represents a period of the day; Morning, Noon, Afternoon and Night
- After the 18th century engravings by Gilles Demarteau (1729 - 1776)
- The engravings taken from the original artwork by Jean-Baptiste Huet (1745 - 1811)
- Dressed with mounting wire for ease of hanging
