This is a fine and desirable pair of antique torchere stands in solid brass weighing an impressive 28lb (13Kg) each making them very stable.
Sitting upon a tripod of lion paw feet, a classically detailed cast base supports a square section reeded column which rises from a bulbous mount that perfectly balances the triple turned neck supporting the ‰Û÷pie crust‰۪ plinth that has a solid perimeter gallery with generous lip.
The pair are superb quality presented in excellent antique condition with solid joints and construction.
