This is a pair of vintage bowling woods. A Scottish, hardwood lawn bowls ball by Thomas Taylor of Glasgow, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1935.

Fascinating pair of numbered and monogrammed woods
Displaying a desirable aged and play-worn patina throughout
Hardwood stocks show fine grain interest and deep russet hues
Decorated with carved rosette wave patterns

Of Number 1 and Number 2 bias, annotated upon a circular medallion
Each ball of company's 'standard' quality, engraved with their 'Heavy Quality' mark
Dashing monogram to the contrasting face medallion for a C.V.H.
Balls crafted by Thomas Taylor of Glasgow, which continues in the field
