This is a pair of tall vintage decorative lamps. A Continental, gilt metal and marble centrepiece or table light, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.
- Striking proportion, rare and unusual as a pair
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Gilt metal beams with bright golden tones
- Black marble base accentuated with white vein interest
- Prominent drum shades with deep green finish, dressed with golden bands of trim
- Ornate classical detail to the tall support column
- Enamel insets to each side with painted scenes
- Unique to each lamp, the scenes are of traditional taste
- Thick black marble plinths supported by gilt cabriole legs with hairy paw feet and wing detail
- Supplied with a generous length of quality cable with a British 3-pin plug
- Accepts a British Standards compliant bayonet light bulb
