This is a pair of antique torcheres, English, Victorian plant stands in elm and mahogany dating to circa 1900.

Displaying deep russet tones to the quality mahogany stems
Anchored on turned elm plates with grain interest
Raised upon quality bun feet

The stout, turned, baluster stems offer a stable platform for the lipped tops
Decorated with well executed acanthus leaf carvings
Anchored by lead weighted bases for added stability

Nice to find a pair and in such good condition. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
