This is a pair of antique carnival plaques. A Venetian, bronze on oak decorative wall plate, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Fascinating plaques, of superb quality and distinction
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Lightly polished bronze shows shimmering golden tones and minimal tarnish
Set upon shaped oak plinths with unusual demi-lune corners

Charming relief scenes presenting dancers at a masquerade ball
Pairs of figures hand-in-hand, with traditional renaissance period masks
Maker's marks engraved to lower corner, appears to read 'Kusuik'
Dressed to rear with small brass hanging loops for ease of mounting
