Antique Occasional Table, Late Victorian Oak c.1890
Our Stock # LFA-1316
This is an antique, Victorian, oak occasional table dating to c.1890.
Raised on turned oak legs and feet with square section where the boxed stretcher unites them, this diminutive side table carries a warm, country look. The dark, aged finish and deep relief carving would sit well in any cottage setting.
The top has the typical geometric border framing a central, stylised foliate carving and is complimented by the wisps of finer, outer carvings and a simple moulded edge. Beneath, the modest apron is shaped into crescents and lined with carved detail.
A solid little country table, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
