This is an antique dining bench dating to the late Victorian period c.1900.
The single plank, elm seat is double tenoned fixing it securely to the frame which is robustly constructed of splayed A-frames reinforced by twin, angled stretchers.
The rich, dark tones and grain interest compliment the aged patina with soft time-worn edges comfortable and pleasing to the touch.
Traditional and charming with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed polished and ready for the home.
