This is a large vintage dried flower vase. A Chinese, waxed paper over board decorative drum vase, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.

Great colour and eye-catching gilt decor in the Chinoiserie manner
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Rich crimson hues to the waxed paper, showing minimal signs of ageing
Decorative river scenes adorn the wide drum form, with black and gold finish
Removing the lid shows a charming lined interior
