This is a large vintage dish. An English marble bowl or garden bird feeder, dating to the 20th century.

Pleasingly formed in good, original order
Displays a desirable aged patina
Heavy, solid and substantial with dish diameter of: 56.5cm (22.25")
Bovey black marble with dappled finish and long white veins

Four marks to the fascia suggest a former metal attachment
Some markings to the edge under closer inspection
Rough, natural back provides a contrasting finish
Ideal for use as a large bird bath in the garden or as a jardiniere
