This is a large Victorian dinner gong with beater in English oak frame, c.1870.
- Large 53cm (20.75") bronze gong with pitted decoration
- Suspended by a leather strap
- Within a robust oak frame
- Displaying grain interest and good colour and patina
- Stout, bracketed feet for stability
- Softened by rounded upper corners
- Beater with silver cap hangs to one side
