This is a large round coffee table of 19th century Italianate form made in the latter part of the 20th century.

Rich caramel hues in a high sheen finish
Decorated in the 19th century Italianate taste
Raised on cabriole legs with ormolu toe mounts
In good order with some superficial marks consistent with careful use

Central floral spray with ornate scrolled border
Framed with a band of stylised lozenges featuring putti
Serpentine frieze displaying swags and foliate decoration
Ormolu mounts of female form over leg joints

An attractive table with abundant interest in the decoration. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
