This is a large antique sideboard. An English, Victorian mahogany dresser dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1850.

• Resplendent in rich mahogany with fine grain interest
• Good consistent colour throughout and a desirable aged patina
• Deep russet hues in a lustrous wax polished finish
• Of large proportions at 6'1" x 5'1"

• A large, shaped backboard decorated with carved scroll detail
• Beautifully decorated with intricate pierced carved fruit and foliate detail
• Generous, thick counter top with edge moulding at 6cm deep (2.25")
• Central recess dressed with superb pierced carved apron detail

• A pair of field panel cabinet doors reveal upper drawers within
• Brass keyhole linings and locks with key present
• Raised upon a substantial continuous plinth base with dished centre

• Top protrudes at the rear to allow close wall placement clearing any skirting (baseboard)
