This is a large antique sideboard, an English, late Georgian server in mahogany dating to circa 1800.
- Select mahogany with grain interest throughout
- Desirable aged patina in the lustrous, wax polished finish
- Displaying Sheraton influence and quality
- Expansive breakfront, top surface displays well with curved ends
- Backed by a shaped up-stand with carved fan mounts and classical inlay detail
- Raised on six, square section, tapering legs terminating in spade feet
- Cupboard doors with ovular inlay delineated with boxwood stringing
- A pair of frieze drawers over hidden, deep, tableware drawer
- Superior quality handles featuring pressed brass back-plates
- Solid brass keyhole linings, locks untested as key absent
