This is a large antique four panel coffer. A Scottish, oak chest or window seat, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1750.

• Skilfully carved panels adorn the lid and front fascia
• Four bevelled shields accentuate the lid, ideal for use as a window seat
• Distinctive front fascia carved with Saltire motif, the rear finished with bevelled lozenges
• Raised prominently upon wide, block feet to each corner
