Georgian Hanging Antique Corner Cabinet, c.1780
Our Stock # 10.1236
This is a Georgian, hanging antique corner cabinet dating to c.1780.
Constructed in English oak in deep russet tones with an appealing patina, this mid-sized cabinet features a shaped, field panel door with Eastern influence in it's arched top, a solid brass lock escutcheon and pull and show 'H' hinges - typical of this period.
A modest lower moulding is complimented by a detailed crown moulding featuring a geometric reciprocating fret. Opening the door reveals triple, serpentine fronted shelves offering plenty of storage or display space. The door lock is in place but untested as the key is absent but the door closes to a snug fit.
A fine hanging cupboard complete with wall fixings. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
