This is an English, antique, Georgian, bow fronted corner cabinet dating to c.1780.
Rich in a warm ruddy brown palette, the well figured mahogany is detailed with boxwood and ebony stringing featuring inlaid conch motifs. The base is dressed with a concave moulding whilst the crest rail is proportionally larger.
Furnished with the original solid brass 'H' hinges and the twin doors close with a working lock and key and open to reveal a shelved interior finished in a sympathetic heritage 'Georgian green' chalk paint.
A super example of it's type combining a glorious aged aesthetic with modern practical purpose. Supplied complete with brass fixing plates for ease of mounting. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
