This is an Edwardian school masters cupboard dating to c.1910.
Raised on a shaped plinth this cupboard displays well figured English oak, particularly in the field panel doors which are dressed with brass drop handles on pressed plates and close with later ball catches.
Above the doors, a bead detail creates a frieze beneath the planked top which is complete with a generous 12cm upstand. Inside the cabinet is divided vertically in two and carries four adjustable shelves.
Understated period charm, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
