This is an antique writing desk. A French, flame mahogany and cedar bonheur du jour, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

• Of wonderful proportion and rich in colour

• Wide drawer to lower fascia with circular wooden pulls
• The main drawer and skiver replete with inset brass-lined locks — matched key present
