This is an antique Welsh dresser. A British, oak sideboard cabinet of country house proportion, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. 

• Impressively tall, two piece Victorian Welsh dresser
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select oak shows deep caramel hues beneath a wax polish finish
• Graced with fine grain interest throughout and wisps of medullary rays

• A wide crown moulding sits prominently over the whole
• Back rest arranged as a trio shelves set between carved pilasters
• The generously sized base offers a set of six drawers and two side cabinets
• Drawers and doors dressed with inset, brass lined locks —in working order, keys present

• Brass drop handles to each drawer sit upon decorated backplates
• Shaped handles to the cabinet doors with quarterfoil mounts
• Beaded field panels adorn the doors and drawer frames
• Standing upon a shaped front apron with square section feet
