This is an antique upholstered stool. An English, walnut footstool or tabouret, dating to the late Regency period, circa 1820.

Fascinating drum shaped stool
Displays a desirable aged patina
Walnut base displays caramel tones and grain interest

Plush, velour cushion with quilted diamond pattern
Ruched valance in light ruby hues shows some wear commensurate with age
Standing upon four, squat bun feet

This is an appealing antique stool, from the Regency period of the early 19th century. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
