Antique Telescope, Large Dollond Four Draw

This is an antique telescope by Dollond dating to c.1800.
Rare to find such a large example at nearly five feet long, this four draw, achromatic scope can be used for terrestrial or celestial purposes.
The optics are in good order offering clear and sharp image. The eyepiece retains the original swivel dust cover with the first tube segmented.
The draw tubes are largely in good order however the second tube has signs of wear as per the photos but nothing to detract from it's use.
The 70mm, 2.75", achromatic objective lens is in good order and protected by a removable lens cap with one slip absent.
