This is an antique tall ship's block lamp. An English, oak maritime or nautical table light, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.

Of impressive scale - from the golden age of sail
Displaying a desirable aged patina and time-served weathering
Authentic oak block with dark russet hues and wear commensurate with age
Presented upon an attractive elm base with fine grain interest
Supplied with a quality concertina shade and warm white bayonet bulb
Generous length of quality woven cable with power switch, and a British Standards compliant 3-pin plug
