This is an antique stick barometer by Carpenter and Westley, 24 Regents Street, London. Dome topped, in oak and dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1860.
- Of fine quality by renowned London maker, Carpenter and Westley
- Cased in English oak displaying grain interest and a desirable patina
- Bright, clear hand engraved scales with a pair of vernier slides
- The slides adjusted by the pair of original knobs
- Featuring a thermometer in the shaft
- Over lower turned cistern cover
- The back retains the original installation instructions
