This is an antique steamer trunk. An English, canvas and leather nautical or maritime travel case by the Army and Navy Co-operative Society, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Business-like exterior with a wonderfully nautical interior finish

- The stout lid held in place with leather straps
- Broad leather vamp shields the lock mechanism
- Dressed with a sliding clasp and inset working lock — key present

- Bright crimson details abound, with a fold-over pouch to the lid
- Leather straps reveal a stowage void within, with a versatile, folding compartment at the side
