This is an antique sideboard. An English, Regency server in mahogany dating to the early 19th century circa 1830.
- Select mahogany with grain interest throughout
- Desirable aged patina in the lustrous, wax polished finish
- Displaying Sheraton influence in classic Regency styling
- Brass rail to rear featuring shaped posts capped with classical vase finials
- Bow-front top surface displays well with a deep polished appeal
- Raised on six, square section, tapering legs terminating in spade feet
- Cock-beaded cupboard and drawer fronts display well
- Dressed with quality lion mask and loop handles
- Cupboard to left-hand side with working lock and key
- Central frieze drawer over bracketed aperture
- Right-hand cellaret drawer withdraws smoothly
