This is an antique showcase cabinet. An English, walnut and bronze display piece of museum quality and dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.

• Select cuts of walnut offer fine grain interest and rich hues
• Bronze upper cabinet with original, large glass panes
• Dressed with a working lock mechanism, key present
• Cabinet base is removable and finished in cream cotton fabric

• A pair of cabinet doors, dressed with working brass lock escutcheons, keys present
• Field panel doors operated by wooden pulls
• Door jambs with original velvet dust seals - a further sign of the quality of the cabinetry

• Cabinet has been previously prepared for lighting
• Internally ventilated to maintain ambient temperature
• Raised upon a stout, continuous plinth base
