This is an English antique sewing table dating to c.1860.
An upholstered stretcher doubles a convenient foot rest and unites the lyre shaped legs pierced with clover leaf detail.
The attractively figured mahogany top has a deep, lustrous sheen with a single, pine lined frieze drawer beneath dressed with cock bead and original brass pulls.
The generous under basket slides for ease of use and is upholstered with a rich damask cloth trimmed with a golden brocade.
Superb quality and a stunning piece presented in good antique condition. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed & polished ready for the home.
