This is an antique set of four dining chairs. An English, Edwardian, mahogany and upholstered set dating to the early 20th century, circa 1910.
- Mahogany displays a fine grain interest and a commensurate aged patina
- Rich, dark hues and a consistent colour in a wax polished finish
- Classically patterned textile upholstery in serviceable condition - but showing signs of age and chairs would welcome re-upholstery
- Strong, robust and of quality craftsmanship – suitable for daily use
- Wide, sprung seats and upholstered back providing a comfortable seat
- Nicely resolved padded back displaying interesting, seven bobbin balustrade
- Offering good proportion with a comfortable 47cm (18.5") seat height
- Classic turned front legs with moulded front rail, and shaped and swept rear legs
