This is an antique set of chairs. An English, walnut suite of 4 dining chairs and dating to the early Victorian period of the mid-19th century, circa 1840.
- A suite of elegant repose and tasteful upholstery
- Displaying a desirable aged patina
- Select walnut with fine grain interest
- Autumnal bracken hues to the high-quality velour – recently professionally upholstered
- Graceful buckle-back form with pinched waist
- Carved wheat sheaf stretcher situated at the midpoint
- Generous, traditionally stuffed seat pads decorated with rich saffron brocade
- Standing upon sinuous cabriole legs to the front, terminating in pad feet
- Gently tapered swept legs at the rear
