This is an antique serving dish. A French, cut glass and ormolu presentation centrepiece or fruit bowl in the Empire manner, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good antique order
- Striking cut glass with a beautifully defined pattern and bright appearance
- Quality ormolu presents deep golden tonality to the rim and wreath details
- Cut pattern with a pineapple leaf cut over crosshatch motif
- Dressed with a pair of ornate, articulated drop handles
- Ormolu footer features a chased leaf and egg and dart pattern
- Viewing window within the base accentuated with a neat starburst pattern
