This is an antique schoolmaster's hand bell. An English, bronze and walnut ringer, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. 

  • Delightfully patinated hand bell, with fine decorative appeal
  • Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
  • Bronze bell with superb weathered appearance and wide, flared rim
  • Turned walnut handle shows deep chestnut hues and fine grain interest
  • Easily discernible ring with a prominent cast iron clapper

This is a pleasing antique schoolmaster's bell, as useful today as it was nearly 200 years ago. Distinctively weathered bronze and quality, turned handle. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
