This is an antique porthole mirror. An English, convex decorative hall or lounge mirror, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Classic porthole mirror of useful proportion and great colour
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Gilt gesso frame presents rich golden tones with decorative spheres to the border
Contrasting ebonised ring in stepped graduations surround the mirror
Mirror plate offers a subtle, convex angle of view and in very good order
Dressed with a hanging wire to rear for ease of mounting
