This is an antique pole screen, an English, Regency fire screen with needlepoint panel dating to the early 19th century, circa 1820.
- Raised on a fine mahogany stand with good colour and grain interest
- Standing upon a tripod of beautifully swept legs over miniature bun feet
- Classical overtones to the turned and tapered pole
- Adjustable, circular needlepoint silk screen
- Well executed, depicting exotic birds in a tree
