This is an appealing antique plant stand, a Victorian torchere dating to the late 19th century.
- Quality dark mahogany with a polished finish
- Raised on talon and egg feet
- A tripod of cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf knees
- Turned stem with fluted vaseåÊ
- Extended tapering riser decorated with wheatsheaf carvings
- Ringed neck displaying carved foliate detail
- Lipped gallery to turned platform
- Solid and stable, ideal for a trailing plant
