This is an antique pine trunk. An English, Victorian storage chest dating to the mid 19th century, circa 1850.

Crafted in antique pine displaying grain interest throughout
Good consistent colour and a desirable aged patina
Featuring the original brass lock, key absent, and brass keyhole escutcheon
Generous storage space in original aged condition
Raised upon a stout continuous plinth base

This is an antique pine trunk or coffer. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for storage.
