This is an antique pier mirror. A Regency, giltwood wall mirror dating to the early 19th century, circa 1820.
- Attractive mellow golden tones in the giltwood frame
- A refined mirror, mid-sized with a good finish and desirable aged patina
- Superb proportions in classical form
- Twin Greco influenced columns with leaf cup mounts flank the later mirror plate
- Rising to the shaped pediment with beaded breakfront upper frieze
- Horizontal column and fluting decorate the frieze panel
A very nice example that would look fantastic over a console table. Supplied with fixings ready to hang.
