This is an adjustable height, antique piano stool dating to the 19th century c.1880.
Finished in an attractive dark waxed finish this stool displays classic aesthetic movement overtones.
Raised on four, splayed, turned and fluted legs united by a turned, 'X' frame stretcher the stool adjusts by spinning the top on the robust threaded bar that ascends and descends from the central baluster.
The padded seat has been finished in a floral cloth in fine order that could be easily reupholstered to suit any d̩cor and adjusts in height from 49cm to 63cm.
A solid and attractive piece, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
