This is an antique pair of firedogs. English, medieval revival andirons forged in the early 20th century, circa 1900.

Bold andirons ideal for a large fire basket
Standing upon a scrolled arch leg
Medieval revival in taste
Featuring three spit hooks
Topped with cup dogs; originally used to keep small pots or drinks warm
