This is an antique overmantel mirror, a mid-sized, English, Victorian wall mirror in giltwood frame dating to circa 1850.

Attractive mellow golden tones in the giltwood frame
A refined piece displaying classical overtones
Dome form with original mirror plate displaying desirable light foxing

Hand-carved wood bracketing to the lower flanks
Displaying foliate and 'C' scroll mounts to the moulded frame
Raised on shallow bun feet and supplied with fittings ready to mount

A very nice example to dress any mantlepiece. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
