This is an antique organist's bench. An English, oak ecclesiastical music pew, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

- Displays a desirable aged patina – some heat rings from the organist's cup
- Select oak shows fine grain interest
- Good consistent colour to its wax polish finish
- Generously sized bench at 122cm (48") wide and 72.5cm (28.5") high
- Wonderful patina to the top – smooth from decades of waxing and use
- Attractive wisps of medullary rays
- Raised upon spayed, arched legs united by a stout stretcher
- Standing upon square block feet
This is a fine antique organist's bench, with wonderful oak stocks with appealing figuring. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
