This is an antique officer of the watch telescope. An English, mahogany and brass single draw terrestrial or astronomical refractor by Spencer, Browning & Rust, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1835.
Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife stalking, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky.

- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Dressed in select mahogany, the barrel shows fine grain interest
- Clear and bright, large diameter objective with a generous size of 45mm (1.75")
