This is a superb antique nightstand. A Scottish, satinwood bedside cabinet or pot cupboard by Taylor & Sons of Edinburgh, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1890.
- Graced with striking craftsmanship and figuring, for the finest of bedrooms
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in wonderful antique order
- Satinwood stocks present beautifully, with fine grain interest
- Light, warm caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish
- Low back rest to the top, accentuated with a carved demi-lune motif
- Cabinet drawer dressed with a brass twist latch and deep field panelling
- Arranged as a pair of shelves to the interior
