This is an antique newspaper rack. A French, oak and brassed alloy magazine or music stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Striking rack with great hues and sinuous forms
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select oak base offers deep russet hues and fine grain interest
Bright golden tones radiate from the brassed rails with fine meshwork to centre
Rack rotates smoothly through 360-degrees and raised upon a trio of serpentine legs
