This is an antique nest of three occasional side tables. An Oriental, Chinese Elm trio in Japanned taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Charming example of the Victorian Oriental taste
• Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout - light sun fade present to top table
• Chinese elm presented with a Japanned lacquer finish
• Hand decorated with fine gilt paint detailing throughout

• Each top depicts traditional Oriental scenes inhabited by birds of paradise
• Mother of pearl inlay shimmers in the catch-light
• The trio nest in a smooth stacking manner
• Raised upon splayed legs with stretcher rails to the side and rear
