This is an antique linen press, an early Victorian, housekeeper's cupboard in flame mahogany dating to mid-19th century, circa 1860.
- A fine example in select flame mahogany
- Displaying grain interest in mellow, russet hues
- Desirable aged patina in a lustrous, wax polished finish
- In good proportion beneath a proud crown moulding
- A pair of carved foliate appliqué decorate the upper stiles
- The upper cabinet features twin, dome-topped, field panel doors
- Featuring a working lock and key
- Inside, a suite of smooth running linen slides present abundant storage
- A cushion frieze drawer elegantly sits over a pair of full-width drawers
- The latter dressed with moulded glass pulls
- Raised upon four, stout turned legs
