This is an antique keep-safe box. An English, leather bound jewellery box, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Appealing period lock box, ideal for document or jewellery storage
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Leather dressed to the exterior and interior, with a deep black hue
- Brass lift-up handle recessed within a shield shape backplate
- Secured with a working Bramah lock — key present
- Opening to reveal a removable tray with a smaller, lift-out tray to the side
