This is an antique inlaid serving tray. An Anglo-Indian, mahogany and boxwood Colonial afternoon tea slide, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Enthusiastically inlaid tray with fine decorative appeal
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks show fine grain interest beneath a wax polish finish
- Rich caramel hues enhanced with superb boxwood inlay and ebonised borders
- Distinctive rolled handles with foliate inlay motif
- Dressed with a quality, deep blue protective baize to the reverse
