This is an antique helmet scuttle. An English, copper coal bucket or fireside bin, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

- Copper bucket shows rich colour and hand-finished charm
- Rolled top handle clasped by shaped brackets, smaller brass handle to rear
- Lightly weathered interior impressively clean for age
- Raised on a squat circular base with banded finish
